Front windscreen washer bottle fixings

Post by organicmatter »

Hi all

Can any one tell me what would work or indeed what the original fittings are that hold the front water bottle (1992 1.9 dg petrol with 2 fixings)?
I've removed the bottle as was getting no water and the fixing have broken.
Have a new pump etc on order just need to find a way to reattach it.

Thanks
Tim

Bottle is fine, have a pump on order it's just the fixings rusted through, so need to find some new ones.

Spire clips of the appropriate size for the fastener that you are using.

Brilliant thanks for the info. after googling spire clips it looks like they are M6 chimney spire clips.
Some are now on order.
