Where can we buy perspex side windows for a T25 hi-top?

Post by Tracy&Andy »

Hello everyone.

We need to buy two new (or good quality second-hand) side windows for our 1990 T25 hi-top, but we do not know anyone that sells them!

Does anyone have any ideas, or know of a supplier in or around the London area? Or will we need to get them custom made?

We have done on-line searches and come up with nothing. We are getting a re-spray next month and want to replace our cracked, leaking windows as part of the refurbishment, but have hit the proverbial brick-wall!

We have had some brilliant advice from you guys before, so it's a case of "Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!" (Carrie Fisher, RIP)

Thanks for looking,

Tracy and Andy

Thanks for the reply.

The windows are the plastic/perspex (i.e not glass) type, set into the roof sides. They are single-glazed, and slightly concave, but we are fine with replacing them for flat/flush ones.
Do they supply and cut this type material?

Thanks

They may well do,ring them, speak to either Richard or Matt, say Neil Lodge has recommended them and see what they can do,top Yorkshire lads.
I can guarantee they won't be in the market to stuff you.
Tell them the thickness ,approx size, smoke or clear.that should do.

Just look up acrylic supplies. If you tell them what you want they will cut it to a template.

I'd use polycarbonate not perspex which will snap and scratch.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

Some great suggestions that we hadn't thought of.
Will definitely go for polycarbonate instead of perspex, and will check out the two different suppliers suggested.

That's put our minds at rest now we know it is possible.
Spray job here we come!

Thanks

Is it an autohomes conversion?

Sorry for the delay,

We think the conversion was from a small company that is not around any more, called Country Kampers (we have an invoice in the paperwork we inherited).

Thanks
