Oil cooler

Post by drillmaster »

Hi I would like to fit an oil cooler to my 1.9DG for longer motorway trips especially abroad.
I planned on using a thermostatic sandwich take off plate, and there are one or two options.
Whats the best one to get and what are the fittings i should get to fit in the tight space there?
Its looks like possible 45degree 1/2 inch BSP might be alright with push on hose?
What about the cooler itself is 13 row big enough if I put it in front of the rear light fitting?

Thanks in advance

If you don't want to put the rad up the front, then i reckon this is the best option

Agreed, I saw the tencentlife install on the samba, similar, and very effective.
