Intercooler fan

Post by Cambridgejohn »

Hi All - can anyone help with instructions on how to wire up an intercooler fan please? I have a 1.9 mk3 tdi golf engine circa 1996 and had an intercooler fitted a few months ago by a so called specialist in Telford. For some reason he didnt wire the fan that he charged me for when he supplied and fitted it with the intercooler. Where it has been fitted it gets no air flow at all so the fan is essential. I have only just discovered that it is not wired. There is a short twin core cable from the fan and nothing anywhere near to connect it to.

Thanks again in advance

Mine is run through a relay, trigger wire from an ignition live in engine bay and main 12v supply from the battery(somewhere like the black relay box in corner of engine bay
