Jack for van with planks

Can any body tell me the difference between a standard jack and one for planks as if I can't purchase one I want to modify one, thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the horizontal which fits into the jp is longer so that the jack itself stands clear of the additional width created by the plank. If I know this then it must be because I read it in the wiki at some point in the past...
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

I am sure you are correct. What I need is somebody who has one to photo it and add the dimensions, then I can modify mine.
I a sure it's about 25mm longer but I would like dims to be sure.
