Help.... Refitting curtain rail to tailgate

Post by GrahamL »

Hi,
I have had a memory lapse and a replacement tailgate to compound the problem!!!!!!

When attempting to refit the top curtain rail, I noted the rail has ends which flare out.
It looks obvious that some fettling will be required to suit the replacement tailgate profile.
Does this rail also stand off in the middle to enable the curtains to be parted?
Do the flared ends also stand off from the tailgate?
All help will be appreciated.
Regards

No standoffs on mine - following pics might help as even with the holes there it takes a while to work out which way round it goes.
