Was just wondering what people pay to get a clutch changed at a garage, We just had the hire van done and they only charged me £144, which I thought was very reasonable. I supplied the clutch kit of course, but I wouldn't have done it for that...

Re: clutch change price
I'd say between £200 and £300 depending on labour rate of said garage. Get the spigot bearing done at the same time. I paid the price for a really knackered one. New engine time

Re: clutch change price
2.5 - 3 hours labour (back street prices between £45 & £60 an hour) plus vat plus parts.
So if yours was just labour.. £144 is on the lower end....result.
But did you get the spigot shaft needle roller and starter (oilite) bearings replaced at the same time? fairly important.
