Re: BERLIN VWBUS TREFFEN 2013
thought this would be the best place to ask them that know - can anybody explain how you pay for the weekend? I understand it has to be bank transfer, but I don't understand what some of the numbers are, and I've never done an international bank transfer!
the registration email said this:
"Thank you for your registration.
Cash transfers (40, - € per bus) back within 14 days (no later than July 17, 2013), indicating the vehicle number plate and the logon name in the following account:
Rüdiger Schneider
Postbank Essen
Account no: 829607437
BLZ 36010043
IBAN: DE13360100430829607437
BIC: PBNKDEFF
Much looking forward to the meeting you wish the
Bulli Stammtisch Berlin"
So what do I put as the recipient's address? Think I figured out the other numbers (bank asked for BIC/SWIFT and IBAN)
Cheers for your help

Re: BERLIN VWBUS TREFFEN 2013
Hi Charlie,
I am assuming that you have made/or will be making a payment to Berlin Bus Treffen.
The Thank you for you registration means they have your details & you will now be on the gate arrivals list.
When you arrive the at the gate they/we will check your details & if you have paid (or not) you will be given a goodie bag & other details for the event.
Don't worry it is a very laid back event. Most of the gate staff can speak English (or Russian!) any probs ask for Simon (or Rudi who is the one you will have/will be making payments to).

Re: BERLIN VWBUS TREFFEN 2013
leaving england in the next couple of days and taking the unplanned scenic route
hoping to arrive in Berlin a couple of days before the bus show and stay with a friend from university who is studying there for the summer.
I didn't even realise this event was happening until I started researching things to do on my trip and realised it was the perfect timing!

Re: BERLIN VWBUS TREFFEN 2013
Are you there yet or when do you expect to arrive?
I will be turning up on Friday afternoon (Ca. 16:00), are you parking in the family side or the noisy side?

Re: BERLIN VWBUS TREFFEN 2013
Sorry I didn't get back to this, I didn't have any access to internet!
Overheating problems on the weekend made me abort my plans and I didn't even make it to the show! managed to sort stuff out though and made it home, but it's a shame I missed it. Hope you had a good one
