Window winder singing round

Hi there,

I'm new to owning a T25 and was nearly done on replacing the drivers side door card when I refitted the window winder and it just span round after doing up the Allen key that connect the window winder to the notched circular head hat was sticking out of the door.

I have since taken out the window winder mechanism from inside the door panel and I can't see how the steel bar with the touched head on it ever ,over the bar along . .

Does this mean I simply have t replace the entire window winder mechanism?
I tried removing the passenger side handle, undid it with the Allen key, pulled the handle off and the notched head and cylindrical bar came with the handle, I re- attached it and that now spins around too?.

Any help n this would be appreciated..
