Diesel tinware

Post by mikeytar3 »

Anyone out there have any thoughts on the engine shrouding tinware on diesels? In the past I've been recommended to remove the shielding from my syncro (not the undertray) to help with air flow and cooling. Now on my 2wd caravelle i'm wondering if i need to keep the tinware around the engine, or if it would help the cooling if it got lost.
