few more jobs done.
Fitted spots wired to main beam . These are off Andreas MIni(yeah she does know) took em off when we got the new Polo 8)
Image
Look nice and classy with the chrome backs and they are good quality
Image
Only snag is there is very little adjustment so im gonna have to make some angled spacers to fit under them to lift the beam up.
Also fitted a clock to the dash pod which Phred gave me when i bought the van. What i thought was gonna be a 10 minute job turned in to a good few hours.
the connector strip that on my old set was at the side the one on the new set was along the bottom and didnt work right, as a result i had a bit of hacking to do with the dremmel to get it all to fit.
Image
Ive also improved the dash lights making small reflectors for the bulb holders.

NICE VISIT

Today we had nice visit from one of the best vans I have seen in a long time (Hello Jambo).
In Jambo was two very nice people, along with two very nice four legged friends who have worked hard to give Jambo a second life (hello Daz, Andrea, Poppy & Holly)
Looking forward now to a return visit in the Spring/Summer.
Andrea hun, Dot send her love and says all the best and when you feel low just have rest and a smile xxx

Phredd, Dot & Sasha. (till we meet again).

Hi Dazco,
Any chance of some more pics of the seating setup in the back of your van?
Long way off for me but nice to dream.

Thanks look forward to seeing that. Similar to what i want to do eventually. Just need to learn to weld first, so i can get the body sound on the van first. What welder did you use? and did you have experiance welding before?
Cheers

Cheers for that. The seating looks great better than a rnr in my opinion. Are those seatbelts back there too?
