non standard wheels

Post by Tony Tone »

I have noticed on ebay and awful lot of people selling non standard wheels and them stating that they have gone back to original wheels, hub caps etc. Is there something unsaid here with non standard wheels not really being a good idea and people are finding out the hard way ?.

I have standard wheels by the way and my van isn't lowered (been there and done that)

i have standard wheels on one van and loads wider and bigger wheels on the other 2 vans the only reason one of my vans runs standard wheels its a totally original low mileage van , i would never go back to running 14 inch wheels and 80 profile tyres

they just drive so much nicer on wider rims and the grip is loads better , i drove my old van with modified motor on standard rims it was scary but it certainly had more impact when i upset the m3 driver
