Chiz just cooked his engine so his van wont be there. I'll make sure he is though,

Eric said he'd be there in his Doka as well.
Cheers
Rob.

Looking forward to you testing out the fire engine.

I don’t want to jinx it, but at today (Thursday) the weather for Friday to Sunday is dry with a light breeze. Fingers crossed it doesn’t change, which it most likely will.

However, don’t be fooled, its rain persistently here for the last few weeks, the site is part moor land so there will be wet sections, some very wet... be prepared.

If you go to the owners property first and pay/get a key, they will point you in the right direction. I should be there by 6 tonight.

Well done Alastair. Brilliant weekend, fantastic weather , great venue and some great team building events thanks Dominic. I have to say that I am impressed by Eric and Pete's resilience in not allowing a diesel to beat them. I am sur that there are some great photos to follow. :ok

Great day out.

Here are a couple of vids. They aren't as pretty as Jeds but quick and dirty. Will E D I T them later.

This is Dominic (Aquaman) taking the wrong route. He filled up his van with river water and it took a beefed up Toyota with a mans winch to pull it out. Kudos to Peter, Alastair and co for draining the water from the engine and getting her fired up again. And Kudos to Dominic and Alex (Dominic's wife) for really taking it calmly. I would have been stressed to the max.

The second vid is Alastair and Dominic descending a steepish bit of the course at Drumclog.
