HUB CAPS AAAARGH

Post by fodtommo »

OK so I bought a set of s/h unused domed hub caps with the vw logo on.

They are pattern ones.

2 seem fine - but 2 just dont seem to fit and actually come off 10 yards after you start moving.

is this a common problem?

Also I suspect I may have inadvertantly bought a set for early beetle / bus with large PCD wheels as the pressing kinda goes in slightly, bit like a mushroom? anyone know the difference?

If anyone has had the problem and solved it - whats the trick!? :ok
