Spot on mate.....not such thing as an aspect ratio of 99.
Whenever you DON'T see an aspect ratio ie: 185 R14C (note* there isn't a ratio after the 185 number...for example 50/60 or 70) then the ratio is actually '82'
The 99 must be the load rating and typical for this size of commercially rated tyre. (actually often they say 99/101...the extra load indext number refers to twin wheel use)

It's the other way round if there is a twin rating. The highest figure is for single use and the lowest for twin. Not that it matters here as either far exceed what is required.

Thats why I wrote extra number and not second.... .. 99 was the number being talked about originally but yes...101 in this case would be for single wheel use and 99 rating for twin as you say.

Re: Goodyear tyres on ebay
And if anyone doesn't understand what an Aspect ratio (profile) is then it is easily explained.
The aspect ratio is the height of the tyre (from where it seals on the rim to the top of the tread) expressed as a percentage of the tyres width.
205 70 14's for instance....the first figure of 205 is how wide the tyre is in millimetres, the second figure of 70 is the aspect ratio and is a percentage.
So the second number is telling us: 70% of the tyres width is the height of the tyre.
205 divided by 100 and multiplied by 70 equals 143.5
Therefore, the height of the tyre is approximately 143.5mm.
