5 piece...
Ah. Wonder if the 3-piece is deeper. (Ours is currently a 4-piece, and working on becoming a 5-piece)
and I must be lucky with campsites and ferries
actually thinking about, I'm not lucky with ferries.....
<grin> Last nights ferry was interesting. Kept waking up thinking I was going to roll out of the (upper) bunk, since the boat was wobbling about so much. Not an unpleasant wobble-about, no slamming or banging, just quite a bit of it. A little bit of a surprise to get on a Greek boat between Italy and Albania - and find most of the internal signage in Swedish!

Well due to the cr@p weather and the wiring being somewhat tricky it's taken a while but I have now wired the fogs as per the Haynes Manual fed off the original VW dash fog light switch. The ignition/engine running and side lights must both be on in order for them to work.
You aligned yours up yet Niel? I tried aligning mine yesterday in the early evening by 'line of sight'. Switched them on briefly when I got back from the pub and they were all over the damn place!! I'm going to attempt a late night adjustment later on tonight - I couldn't have adjusted a shoe lace last night......
Bren the funny thing is i still need to ajust mine as well , i say iam going to do it tonight for the last two weeks ..
but the one thing that keeps coming in the way , BEER !!!
neil.

Which lights did you buy and where from please? I found mine on ebay a while back, they are the SPARKRITE SRFL001. Niel, aka Hakuna 'Lucky' Matata saw this thread and had a scout on ebay and found a guy in Bulgaria selling similar lights for half what I paid; the only difference we found seems to be the rears of mine are metal and Niel's are plastic. PM him and he'll be able to point you in the right direction - you can try searching for the SPARKRITE ones but they'll probably be more expensive if and when you find some.
Any pics of the rears? How are they fixed to the spoiler etc? They come with brackets. Niel had additional bespoke brackets made to mount his, I fixed mine directly to the spoiler, but it's a tight fit.
And where should they be pointing when lined up? Still working on that one; ideally I suppose they should illuminate a similar portion of the road surface ahead as the headlights do in normal driving conditions
