Re: porche adaptors?
still learning lots about VW , but some of my basic questions would be :
1) who made these adaptors ?
2) what pcd is wrong ? they wont fit your t25 pcd ? or wont fit the porche wheel pcd ?
Matt

Re: porche adaptors?
fits the van ok, but when bolting the wheels to them i run into difficulty. the pcd is a fraction out it seems as the bolt heads look to be further out towards the outer part of the hole. if a great deal of care is used i can just about get the wheels centred but to me it don,t seem right. no idea what make they are, they are steel without the studs so i am reckoning fairly low rent ones.

Re: porche adaptors?
presuming you have the correct bolts then they should fit with no problems. mine are fine.
it`s a big round cage and there`s too many animals in it for my liking. To help address this ring lee on 07977 765818.

Re: porche adaptors?
doesnt sound good and I wouldnt want to be running them like that.. lots of strain on the bolts and alloys.. get local eng firm to have a measure up, but you should be able to do that in any case.. distance between centres of 2 adjacent holes.. multiply by 1.702 (IIRC this should give you the actual PCD, so need to try and measure the centres as good as poss)

Re: porche adaptors?
mystery solved
put one of the new adaptors on today and was a bit flumoxed as when i put the new and old together ther appeared to be no differece. i took them indoors and tried to bolt them together with all 5 bolts. a fail they would not bolt up, also putting the new bolts in they felt right when i tightened them.
thanks for your input guys

Re: porche adaptors?
Rather than start a new thread I thought I could piggy back this one!
We've got a set of teledials but now need the adapters.
I seem to have a choice of brickwerks hubcentric or eBay non hubcentric.
I obviously want the hubcentric but are there any other recommendations?
Nothing against BW, just want to look at all options before I buy.
What is everyone using with Porsche rims?
Thanks in advance

Re: porche adaptors?
i went for the BW ones , nad yes they are expensive ! but hand on heart i think i would buy them again if i had a choice.
well made , take into account the rear drum holding nuts ( as they are not flush with the drum face )
fitted in minutes , not a problem . no wheel wobble , nothing !
