Best get it together this week as I can only give you a hand for an hour or so on Saturday as in charge of the kids. Working on Sunday, coffeeing in my own Sika........

Bit-o-fettling to do. Typical weather forecast during, no doubt. I’ve been out there in the rain, snow, you name it. Man up...he thinks. No such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes!

Alternator, air intake manifold, tin, carb are now on. Exhaust rear box to go on, 4.5L oil, then compression test me thinks.

Got very good oil pressure up this morning, test light on oil pressure switch stayed on long after I’d stopped cranking. Got to adjust rockers now, in the snow!

Fired it up and it’s running!
Drove it in and out the garage. A real milestone. Very pleased.
