VW Polo Pickup - Resto

I thought I would share the photos of the body work restoration of my old Mk2 Polo that Converted to a pickup back in 2012.

The original project was based around a £1000 budget to enter in the Lands End Trial which was completed, albeit after a lot of sleepless nights.

Here's a snippet of me and my bro not making up BlueHills 2 after picking up 2 punctures, it's a lot steeper than it looks:

Regarding the rest, the car had been parked up for around 2 years and sat in a draft barn in West Cornwall so at late last year the plan was to recommission and use as a daily driver.

The chap who is carrying out the resto is doing a sterling job! He is called Jez and based near Oxford company is WiseWagens, check out the photos and see for yourself:
