15" 205x70 don't fit in the spare wheel carrier :(

And if it did you’d have to jack up the front to get it out...

I think I'm going to keep it standard. The new wheels and tyres give just enough hint of a lift. And I found a place for the spare.

I made mine fit. In doing so I did cut the carrier but now I think there is a chance that this size wheel would fit by just taking out the clamp rods/hinge pins and replacing with a bolt for the hinge.

And one other final 'tip' that I have just worked out (all beginner guides will tell you this but I thought I knew better): Get proper argon/CO2 welding gas... don't put up with pub gas. The difference is significant!
