Irish Syncro event "Eire Syncro" 10th-19th June 2011

Post by jebiga41 »

Ok folks it's the one you've been waiting for The first ever Irish Syncro event "Eire Syncro" is being organised for this June and will be spread over a week. The main part of the event starts on the weekend of the 10th June in which we would have access to the 3 forests yes 3 forests :D that the club now has access too with a huge array of trails ranging from greeenlaning to extreme so something for everyone. Wild forest camping will also be included. :ok Cost will be approx 30 euro which also covers insurance, the plan would then be to drive over to the west of Ireland where people could sight see and spend a nite and day at a pay and play near Galway think it was 20 euro last year with camping and if people wanted play on the sun again in the forest before going back? Costs for ferries are usually around 200 euros return also I have a promo code which people can use :wink:
Thanks guys more details further in the thread . Paul

If the date suits (and that I can't tell yet) this here lurker wouldn't mind showing up at the pay and play thingy at least

DATE ...either (as neither might suit in the end)

I'm interested in either date. Am not working at Glasters this year so was thinking of a holiday instead in June. A week's wild camping in North Scotland was being bandied around, but could nicely convert to Eire.

Personally I favour the weekend of the 12th, at this stage both myself and Andrew have also learnt of a few more Syncro owners over here so should be able to have a few more than just the usual irish suspects. It would be great if you could make it over peasant would love to meet u and the van will try and maybe get over your way in the next few weeks actually talking about going over to enniscrone/ballina way next weekend. All are welcome fellow celts especially Lee would hope to see some scots aswell and will try and post it up on the grrman and french forums when dates are finalised the more the merrier we have 3 forests to play in :ok might try and get down to the new forest on sun and post some pics to tempt you over but for now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zt0MPFwQ ... ata_player" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'm in, barring the unexpected. As a youngster I visited the magical west coast (Clare, Galway) a couple of times and it seems an ideal opportunity to go back.

PS. Can you get LPG in Eire ?
