Adventure Overland 'Saturday Night Feast'

Post by max.karisma »

With only a couple of weeks to go I thought I would post up a reminder of contributions for the Saturday Night Feast!

Before I start, we do realise that the Rugby match will be shown in a venue at the show so we propose to start the meal early, around 6/6.30pm.

As previously stated we are going for an INDIAN THEME this year and to simplify things we have ear marked a few members to make large pans of meat and vegetable curries to cater for EVERYONE . . .

SO all we ask is that, those who wish to join us, could contribute the accompaniments to the curries, which could include:
Rice dishes, Naan breads, Samosas, Chapati, Onion bhaji, Bombay potatoes, Poppadoms, Mango chutney, Indian nibbles, dips, beers and wine.
Any further suggestions welcomed.

As there will be young people attending too, who may not have a taste for curry, please feel free to bring along child friendly dishes and drinks too!

PLEASE could you post up your intended dishes/contributions so we are not inundated with lots of the same dish!

We always have a fantastic feast :D and we look forward to and thank you in advance for your contributions . . .

PS It would be good if anyone has any table top warmers (candle powered) they could bring along to allow for extra helpings throughout the evening :ok

Hi Jim, Yes you have got to feel for the guy, and Rhys Webb, and anyone in any other countries who get injured this late after all the effort they have put in.

I'm sure it will be a nail biting match, and whatever the result we all have another pint afterwards.

I wonder if a certain lady from Shropshire will get as drunk this year?? :D :D After 10.00pm on the Saturday last year, her husband had to translate everything!!
