Re: Camper Jam Syncro demo + volunteers
Hi there,
we have secured tickets & will be camping with the 'naughts gang. We will help in whatever capacity...our syncro does have three belts in the front but David might want a trial drive first! He'll also bring some more high viz vests. Look forward to seeing you all soon, Kirsty, David & Esther xx (& Bella the dog!)

Camper Jam Syncro demo + volunteers
Saturday night we are doing a communal Mexican meal for everyone in the Syncronauts camp. Please bring along a contribution. We already have chicken fajitas, but chilli, guacamole, salsa etc would be good. Has anyone got a bottle of tequila? Please post up any other ideas.

Re: Camper Jam Syncro demo + volunteers
Ok..
Little update.. Jenny will prob correct me/update a few things..
We managed to secure the spot opposite the Quarry this year..
Great position and plenty of space..
Friday we set up camp and settled down welcoming in the Syncronaught arrivals..
Saturday, was a bit hectic, setting up the displays and diving in to prep the ride route, A lovely young lady from the press department of VW UK popped by for a lap in the doka..
We were taking bookings all morning for the "syncro rides" and were pretty busy, Massive thank you to Shawn "Winchweight" and David "Wedgebury" for driving passengers around the course..
Saturday afternoon and eve, we took more bookings, ready for Sunday morning.
The "Mexican" eve went well, some lovely food was presented.. Thank you to all
Sunday, we had many keen people pre booking before we kicked off the rides..
I believe we took over £270, which will be rounded up to £300 by the Syncronauts club and will be donated to charity, (Jenny, help me out here with which one )
I think that's a pretty good amount and next year we hope to better that..
There was a lot of work that went on behind the scenes since last year... and we were not sure that it would happen until 3 weeks ago..
I don't have many pics as I was running around like a headless chicken.. and driving all of the sessions.. So perhaps others can add some to the thread.
Massive thanks to those that made it and all the passengers that came.. Certainly all of the passengers I took around enjoyed the rides and some even came back for more..
Brilliant weekend and we have some plans to make next year even better......

Re: Camper Jam Syncro demo + volunteers
I just want to day that my wife and I decided to have a go on the syncro assault course and it was one of the best things I have ever done. I can't remember the name of the chap that took us (sorry) , but my wife has just reminded me his seat belt has a fluffy toy on it (she was holding on to it for dear life) . Thank whoever he was. Brilliant and excellent fun

No, Mandy my wife was deffo not a screamer. I think as stages she was holding onto the cuddly toy a little tighter than she should have been but she really enjoyed it and it was a real highlight to what was already a great weekendtoomanytoys wrote:Was she the screamer??
