As already said thanks to everyone for a great event. Was good to meet you all. Still surprised how well these things handle off road! Sinai loved sitting in the back bouncing all over the place while the bus was madly scrambling up a hill. Looking forward to the next meet.

Our thanks as well to those that organised and to those that joined in. You've got to have both to make an event work and this was a really good one.

For those that had a go at the (English) trial section, here are the full results:-
Geoff - 2 penalties
Sean - 2
Les - 4 (Land Cruiser)
James - 4
Richard - 2
? - 7 (Land Rover) (sorry, we didn't get your name)
Nick - 1
Clive - 1
Roger - 3 (Pajero)
Josh - 1
Simon - 2
Tom - 4
Alex - 5

Penalties were given for stopping, taking a reverse or for hitting a cane. The win was given to Nick as his one penalty was for a light touch of a cane whereas Clive & Josh both needed a shunt to make a turn.

Having driven the course as I set it out in the early damp conditions, I had another go after everyone else and, just to prove it was possible, managed a clear round.

Thanks to Geoff, Lee, Richard & Josh for helping to set out the course and to marshal it but especially to all those that gave it a try.

Gary & Josh

PS - surprised no-one has mentioned the visit we had from the air ambulance!

You may have seen us playing with the GoPro over the weekend, well here's the video.

You may want to grab a tea before watching as 16 mins long. Enjoy.

Just to clarify...
A trials rider took a leap of faith, landed badly,
bounced and crashed into some rocks fracturing pelvis...
A lack of ambulances and the remote location meant
air ambulance heli was called in.
We'd just finished some Sunday afternoon fun so was a
an aerial distraction.
Jason kindly took the rather bent bike back down.
