Great news, Simon.

Lee and I are booked in, got some last minute fettling to do to the doka, and seeing that we are in the doka we will still be under canvas, but in fairness the oztent was so good with the three of us in it at OA13 it won't be a problem.

Will load up with a slab of the world famous Welsh beer that can lay claim to being the first beer in the world to be put in a can! if your wondering what it is I'll post a photo after the event.

Simon. If theres any chance that your coming past Clive & Jenny, really would appreciate picking up a parcel for me. Happy to pay for any inconvenience and fuel.

Cheers Rich :ok

I'm not going to make it, The Doka takes off every now and then as it burns it's own oil with attendant blue cloud behind, hav'nt got time to fix it and don't want to call out the RAC ...again!.

Strange problem, thought it might be turbo seals but it doesnt smoke on start up or accelerating, just doesnt smoke at all, untill it starts burning it's own oil :? ....then it does!!

Have a good weekend!

Sounds like worn turbo :(

In the end they will run on engine oil alone and you will have no throttle control and won't switch off!!

It'll rev flat out and destroy the engine unless you stall it!!

(only does it when engine oil is HOT)

We'll be there.

I take it they allow fire pits?

Our first Syncro meet was Salisbury plain a few years back. A week after buying the Caravelle from Elvis. As you can see from early on it had been quite muddy!

Thanks peeps for a great weekend. Glad we found some new routes and some splendid wooded tracks that were more like Devon than Wiltshire.
I'm now converted to MM and a paper map for future trips. GPS positioning is most useful on a featureless plateau.
