Many good pics going up, thanks.. ours will go up tonight.

This is an official Thanks, now we are back from the annual Welsh tour and CamperJam

Thanks all for coming, a good turnout seeing as several regulars couldn't make it this year, as well as being brought forward a week to fit in with CamperJam so clashing with Glastonbury, our main competitor these days :D

Thanks all for enjoying yourselves, which I think we all did, I detected a less frenetic and nicely laid back let's enjoy the weather and site atmosphere.. what a contrast to the challenging and annoying rain last year... rain's alright beforehand, but on the way up and while there not so.

Good to see several first timers to SP this year, helped make up for the regulars who couldn't make it - punch hunt was good fun again even though a couple must have been buried six foot under :|

Thanks to the Committee members who contributed to and/or organised it..

Dai, Patrick, Paul, Neil & Jenny who did most of the background work, and Aidan for making his facilities available as storing equipment

Also Simon Too Many Toys for all his help being there early etc., the beer (!) and especially for taking on the Scrutineering.. not the most enviable job first thing. Hope you all listened intently to everything he might have said... or implied

Sorry that many Committee Members couldn't make it this year... Mark and Roger & Julia particularly wanted to but commitments wouldn't allow... well done Dai & Debs for turning up sans camper. Hope it turns out even better than expected.

Now who haven't I mentioned... well a list of attendees would be good, so

Ooops! Ahhhh! To be continued when I've fixed the forum

Moving the dates was the killer for us. Francis was quite looking forward to the orienteering punch trial, he still talks about it from when we turned up that year in the SA!
Hey ho, lets try again next year... when the lad will have his GCSE's behind him and be looking forward to college

We needed two trees the right distance apart, but did it for the kids between two vans.. which moved a bit on their springs.
Will think it through better next time...

After being interrupted earlier... was going to add the other activities.

Jed & Simon ran two 'safe recovery' sessions which went down really well...

Best practice connecting up was covered and then some long distance tree hookup, vehicle stabilisation and subsequent hand winching using hi-lift jack c.f sylvester lever winch.
