Still in France, pour qui no? In st Malo slumming it in the Les Thermes Marines hotel and using their wifi surprised they haven't kicked me out yet haven't had a shower in 3 days and I'm sure I stink of sex, vans parked outside stealth camping in style
Anyhow a huge thank you to Club Syncro France for an amazing week and great company as usual, special thanks to Jean Claude, Jean luc and the others who spent a massive amount of time on reccieing the lanes, making road books, and then maps and for putting up with us in general and when we were naughty (I was led astray I swear:)
I must say the bar has been truly raised in terms of organisation planning and even driving styles. Am v worried now considering there is to be Eire Syncro 2 promised  must start reccieing when I eventually get back. Off to a festival when I get back will try and put some vids up when I recover

Finally on the boat and going home  the vans laden with enough alcohol to kill a few horses, well going to festival might even sell some :D oh forgot to mention Jacques and Christiane, Veronique and Christophe and the rest of the Paris crew for their warmth generosity, incredible hospitality, local knowledge and Parisian chic :ok

er yes! 5 days of toil to get both trailing arms off! 4.5" cutter, 9" cutter, reciprocating saw, 6ft scaffold pole, 2 spray cans of penetrating fluid, plenty of coffee and warm, dry weather. Only broke one tool - a 12mm stubby allen key. I'm not the quickest but determination won. A good day for Team Patrick. Off to the pub. :D

Other side was pretty far gone as well.

Side that collapsed was more air than metal!

Yes Patrick persistence is the best weapon. I can believe it took 5 days. It took me an hour and a half to get a nipple out of a calliper, but it was better than breaking it.

Wanted - my own warm, high garage with 2 post lift and tea making facilities. No more 100ft up/down the garden everytime I forget something.

Me too! 'cept its more than 100ft to the shed and its been nearly 10 years, in fact 10 years this Syncropendence I believe 8)

That van must have been in salt of some sort early in its life and never washed out, surely
