Syncronauts 2013 events (so far)

Post by HarryMann »

Syncronauts committee has established the dates for two events so far

Spring ConeyFarm 13 & 14th APRIL

Invitation from French Syncro Club 4th to 12th May, Normandy.

Summer Syncropendence 28/29/30th JUNE

Probably a SN presence at CamperJam 5/6/7th JULY

Views welcome on Devon event (Cullompton campsite base); usually 1st weekend in AUGUST but could come fwd or go back. We intend to build up a wider repertoire of lanes in and around Dartmoor after such a good experience there last year.

I know its early days but would anyone be interested in joining up SP and Camperjam again? Really enjoyed last year, apart from the rain, and would make a good mix over a week's hols.

Invitation from French Syncro Club 4th to 12th May, Normandy. No further agenda yet, but likely optional mix of touring, visits and off-roading
.

Thanks Jes, now have added the above between Spring and Summer.

Definately on for Coney Farm. Devon at the same sort of time as 2012 would suit us very nicely. Might be able to do a bit of sussing out on Dartmoor if it helps? Have done Simms many times in my Beetle and would like to do it in a Syncro!

Can't make the French trip sadly and will be in S of France when both SP and Camper Jam are on.

We've booked for CamperJam - it would be great to have the run of that offroad course again.
SyncroP the weekend before.
Excellent - two of the best weekends I had last year, though Devon was up there too. :ok

We've kept that first weekend of August free in case Devon runs.. Every other weekend in August is now allocated.

Yes, we like to do some touring on the Monday and Tuesday, and last year Max, Jenny and myself went up to the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington on the Wednesday, which was quite an eye opener in several ways (some of the town itself is like in a 50's time-warp, a rare place today)
Usually about half stay for the Monday at least...

It was a great add on, and really enjoyed sharing it with you and Jenny, Great Torrington is a place I will never forget . . . do pasties get much cheaper :D

Sadly my boss is away from 25th July to 19th August so I will not be able to make Devon :(
