Weekend green laning pics (dry but wet!)

Post by Muttley91 »

Had a little trip to the Ox Drove near Salisbury with the van.

Was a lovely day out until the water got a little deep and the sliding door seal (was broken anyway) let a little muddy water in!

Did get a telling off by the missus but the guy's that had stopped to watch on their Quad came up and gave me a very good handshake!

Carpet, mats, doorcards all removed and cleaned! Replaced the carpet in the end. Taken 2 days to thoroughly clean, but worth it. Door seal channel being fixed today too.

Off to North Wales, Derby and Sheffield next week for a road trip visiting friends! Hope to take him out with a couple of Landy's in the lanes up there!

Removeable carpet is a good idea, those seals and the handbrake and throttle arm holes often let something through, esp. if you hit the splash like this...

or this..

and after we drained it dry... :D

Believe Russel said the spurt from the handbrake boot area hit the ceiling of his Gold Ritz's cab... but don't tell Rob :|
