I am removing the engine from my 1990 T25 1.9 Petrol Watercooled. Whilst it is out I would like to take the opportunity to change all the "Rubber" Water hoses. However, dispite numerous internet searches I have been unable to locate any suppliers. Can anybody help?
Cheers.
Mick Pond.

Welcome abroad Mick, try http://www.brickwerks.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for all your T25 wants my friend. Simon Baxter is the man when it comes to any parts you need, and this is talking from experience.

All are obsolete from VW
So VW Heritage, Just Kampers, Brickwerks, Serial Kombi, Classic parts de. are your options.
good luck

Re: Water Hoses for T25 1.9 Water.
I'd only change a pipe if it visibly needed it
But here's a diagram of what hoses you'd need and the part numbers for searching for them
http://www.bus-boys.com/bb121wb3.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Firstly I would look at brickwerks
http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... ory_id=118" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If they don't have some then you may find them at heritage
http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_parts_Cool ... try_GB.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Maybe print out the diagram and then search for each part number, writing down the price and source as you go along. That way you can see what an expensive operation it will be
E D I T: Any that heritage don't list on their website they may be able to get from vw classic in germany so use this search facility (you can also ask brickwerks via email to order parts from classic too)
http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_act_vwclas ... try_GB.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If the classic search on heritage comes up blank then try direct on the classic search facility (sometimes parts don't appear on the heritage search but are available)
http://www.vw-classicparts.de/bestand/b ... pl?lang=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Water Hoses for T25 - Thanks to everyone.
Thanks for all the info. They may be expensive but some of them are really awkward to get at so I shall "bite the bullet". I'm just happy to find that they are actually available. I was amazed that "JK" don't do them.
Cheers.
Mick.

Re: Water Hoses for T25 1.9 Water.
JK should be the last place on your list due to quality and fitment issues
