Urgent help needed

Post by LillyBug »

Nearly 2 weeks ago someone tried to steal my Lilly Bug from the front of the house. Fortunately due the imobiliser they didn't get her. They I thought just smashed up the ignition barrel which I have replaced. However I went to drive her just now and the steering is awful!!!! Can hardly move it and when do does very little. there is also a grinding noise. Is it something to do with the steering lock? If it is how do I fix it booked to go away for a long weekend tomorrow with my little lad, so as you can imagine desperate to get it fixed.
thank you in advance.

They might have tried to snap the steering lock and in the process may have torn/damaged the rubber steering couplings. Or maybe the column is damaged.
