i`ve cleaned it up and about 3 or 4 days later....sticky sticky again!!
been on the look out for a replacment but they all seem to be going for silly money
i`ve heard the mk 1/2 golf wheel fits a t25 but not sure how true it is

Mines got Mot now so could use a kids toy car wheel

Try it see how you get on.

I found with mine I used a blade to scrap the thick stuff out then wiped down wish washing up liquid and salt so its abrasive and degrease's

I am guessing this is a very common problem that must have been experienced by loads of others?
We are talking about a steering wheel on a 20+ / 30+ yrs old vehicle...all the outer plastic has begun to melt from too long in the heat etc....I think thats what has caused it....ole fashioned material used in older wheels than todays moden vehicles....
Everytime you go & drive the T3 hands become black or what ever colour the steering wheel of your particular vehicle happens to be?
Anyone reccomend anywhere where they do decent steering wheel covers,or is it a choice of Halfords/JK?
