Tools - recommend a good quality tap and die-set

As it says really. I’m fed up with poor quality taps which rust or lose their threads and edge easily when recutting or cleaning threads..

So can anyone recommend a good quality set - I mainly use taps, but happy with tap and die. Or if I buy separately, what sizes and pitches do I need to cover most bases?

I bought a set of G&J Hall metric taps when I saw them for a decent price on fleabay - I've got a set like ebay item 323318573768. They're from a decent manufacturer, and with standard thread taper, plug and bottoming taps from M3 to M12 I've found they just about cover most applications I've needed.

If I need something different then I just buy an individual taps - the threads for the Westy towbar bolts were one example as these were M12 fine thread.

Dies I find I rarely, if ever, need.
