Oldest diesel bars of them all?

Post by bmouthboyo »

Hello everyone,

I bought my van with a very early Gti conversion done around 94! as such many of the parts I think are custom.http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=164949

I am looking to replace my engine bar mounts / bushes but they are not the usual bars you see from diesels. Some people say they look early but even then there are bits that no one has seen before on it. Does anyone have any images of known early engine bars?

Thanks

They look like my early diesels. You can use new mounts they just have a lot of float

What do you mean by lot of float?

Did you even have this odd one?

Ha! Was just about to say after relooking, the other one looks like my mount, that one looks speshul. Maybe someone made it up custom? I used the new mounts, they are narrower than the old ones so you have space either side.
