I'm getting some ramps for my van, my question is are 2.5 ton ramps suitable?

Re: Vehicle ramps question
In my opinion... yes.
2.5 ton will leave a safe margin, even if you somehow put the full weight of the van on one ramp it would be fine.
For leveling ramps you could probably go lighter but for working under the van I wouldn't go any lighter than 2.5 ton.
