Post by maxstu »

Im about (or trying) to fit a flexible rubber boot over handbrake. But need to remove palm grip first? How does it come away from shaft?

If you have the grip then you have the later handbrake so you should fit the hard plastic cover instead. Still available. The early handbrake did not have a grip so the rubber boot just slid over the end easily.

Cheers Multisi,
was hoping to use spare rubber cover upgrade on my 2.1dj handbrake. Perhaps its not correct for my 1989 version?
