Anyone weighed their van!

I live in a rural area and have the use of a local farmers weigh bridge, so I thought I'd weigh the van since the pop top is now on and the new interior is in. I got a bit of a shock given that there wasn't any camping gear in the van yet just empty cupboards and a full tank of fuel!

Sounds right to me. Unladen weight of a panel van is 1320. Add in glass, pop top and furniture easily gets around 600kg.

I resent that remark! Just refitted the interior with light weight Poplar ply furniture board to get rid of the b&q kitchen cabinet interior fitted by PO.
I used 2 sheets at 22kg each and had a lot of scrap and off cuts left so maybe only 35kg in furniture.

About right my Autohomes tintop with a full tank of fuel is 1715kg, +/-20kg the weighbridge tolerance.

That's the 8ft x 4ft 8" ft slab of inch thick 1980s plywood you are carting about up there! :idea...

I know, I know I need to get on with it!

Took three of us to lift my pop top in position obviously due to its size but I would say it weighs no more than 110-120kgs. Blimey though. Mine has a pop top and a rock and roll bed, thought I'd be less than 1750kgs but looking at this probably not.
