air sanders

Post by hilift »

hi , I need a bit of advice . im contemplating buying an air powered da sander to assist with body work chores on my ,80 t25 . currently doing a full body resto .
the choices are, a palm orbital sander with palm trigger or a hand held da shaped like an angle grinder . has any body any experience of both ?? .
I have an air powered flat bed sander which has a palm trigger and that's ok and is great on flat panels and for finishing , but is heavy .
any advice would be greatly helpful .

Hi, I use both types and personally find the palm sander more comfortable to use. 70mm sanders are great for small jobs, but if you are doing the whole van i would stick with a 150mm.
