T25 CU Exhaust options / steel vs stainless / rear valence

Post by siwalkster »

Our T25 air-cooled van needs a new exhaust silencer. We have the original style mild steel silencer box (CU / 2000) which is blowing. Obviously one the same would fit from JK (or the stainless replica available from Brickwerks) but we were wondering about the Stainless Steel Quiet Pack Exhaust System from JK. For that one it says the rear valence may need bending slightly. Has anyone had to do this?

Yup. Had to shave rear valance slightly to accommodate box. It didn't bother me, but it might some. http://wiki.club8090.co.uk/index.php/Exhausts_Custom" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
