Water in doka cab floor

Post by Gary. »

I seem to be collecting water from somewhere on the floor of my doka cab (at the rear). I can't figure where it might be coming from as it's dry stored and I've not been anywhere wet in it.

Has anybody had a similar problem?

I have a under seat rear heater - are these prone to leakage?

I don't think it's coming from the rear bed as I have rubber lining.

Thanks
Gary.

Hi Gary,

The heat exchanger in mine leaked due to corrosion. Bought a new one from eBay. It was a fairly easy replacement once I was able to loosen the screws.

Cheers,

Lars

And as a follow-up; correct answer! Corrosion in the rear heater matrix. I guess like a leaky radiator. I wonder if the aluminium matrix is available new?

I wish I'd research before lazily asking...
