Are early water pipes the same shape as late ones ,early ones are smaller in diameter I know.I bought later pipes and was wondering if it's possible to modify it to fit my early t25 by reducing the ends to 32mm.

Re: stainless water pipes
Send em back and get the right ones. As above the hole in the cross member just behind the tank wouldn't be big enough and it would be a pig of a job to try to make it fit.
