Hi can someone please tell me how to keep the little button up on sliding door it keeps slides down every time you close the door

there's a spring inside the internal mechanism that keeps it which ever position it's moved to, the mechanism is not readily repairable, so if you need it to stay unlocked you'll probably have to find a replacement mech

Mine used to do this, I put a little LM grease on the slider.
It was thick enough to stop the button falling due to gravity, but wouldnt stop the lock locking when I wanted it to.
It lasted about 6 - 9 months before repeating.
