Paulchen Bike rack

Post by B.J »

Hi,
I'm thinking of getting the paulchen bike rack. If you have one, have you noticed if it has done any damage to your paint work where it hangs off the tail gate? I have a Fiamma one and it's done a fair bit of damage (now repaired).

Thanks

My paulchen has done no damage at all, and I've had a fair bit hanging off it over the years.

Thanks . Do you put 4 bikes on - and does it work with a standard wheel carrier?

You won't get much on at all with a rear wheel carrier, just one bike on the last segment. i do that, then store stuff on it as well. I use a tow bar bike rack for the other 3 bikes. might give you an idea..

Do you think it will fit this one with the ladder?

No, probably won't fit with the ladder.

I use off-cuts of inner tube as liners inside both top & bottom hooks to protect the paintwork.
