Baby bed ideas

Hi guys, help needed please!

We have a T25 syncro panel van with bulk head, it doesn't have a pop top.

Where can we put our 5 month daughter when we go away in the van? We can't seem to find a cab bunk suitable and really want to get out and about as a family.

Has anybody been in the same situation????

Try a small box or draw from a chest of draws lined with a pillow and place it in with you on the rock and roll bed .

I heard a tip on the radio the other day, a couple left their travel cot at home when they went camping so bought a small inflatable dinghy, inflated it and turned it upside down. It made a perfect nest for their little one. The cab bunks are the best ideas though, I would use one but my daughters now too tall.

Cheers for your suggestion guys. After some more googling have taken a punt on this http://nlavw.com/gb/interior/106-adjust ... indow.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Will undoubtedly will need some shoe horning but will let you know how it fits!

We made a nice little bed up on the floor for our little one. She slept there for three years whenever we went away until she stopped wriggling around at night enough to sleep in a stretcher bed above the front seats. Just needed to remember she was there when we got up for a pee in the night!

we just put up a travel cot as it just fits on the floor area when the bed is set up. bit of a squeeze getting past for a pee in the night but he seems to like it.

Bunk turned up today from NLA, inital impressions are good. Sturdy telescopic sections and decent canvas stretcher. Invested in some westy style brackets on the b pillars from jk. Will see how it works next week...

Just thought I'd post an update as to how we have made room for our baby who is too small to go up in the roof.

I ordered the cab bed for a T2 from just kampers. JeffJ kindly made the wooden end blocks for me. Two piece of wood, two bolts that go into the headrest and the hammock bed clips at either end. The seats face each other and voila ! One secure hammock bed.

I have used the lid to our long storage boxes as a base and used her crib mattress on top. Snug as a bug :ok

wind down your window, clip over glass then wind window back up again. Reduces noise too. :D
