ADMIN please note, a request

Post by Troopy »

Please could we have a thread that is pinned and lists wheels that will fit T25's directly?

I have only just started looking into this and it is a minefield for people who are not engineer/mechanic minded.

Maybe a list by manufacturer or size, just something that can be a checklist for the unknowing :D

Thanks Rob.

Every day is a school day, but my request was for wheels that would fit straight on for the amateur mechanic, not to trawl through millions of posts with x amount of mm spacers, suspension changes, changes to bodywork to make them fit etc, just be nice to have a list of alloys that strap on straight away :D

This is what I am saying, to the untrained eye (eg mine) I would assume that as these are advertised as being for T25's they would go straight on.

There must be some that will fit, maybe Caddy or other VW, just want something to replace the steelies.

If its a short list I'm surprised it isn't in this section already, with the amount of knowledge on here it couldn't be hard to make.

Only period after market alloys are a direct fit i.e.

Ronal 7x15 aka "PENTA"
ARC Alurad 7x15
Both ET 21-23

That's about it.

There are one or two rarer others, such as the Catat Duchatelet 16" and the Atiwe keyhole deep dish rims as fitted as an option to Tristars.
