Worth changing springs and shocks?

Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

Worth changing springs and shocks?

Post by mariner »

Hi all. Thinking about changing my springs/shocks to improve my ride. Currently the van picks up every lump bump and hole in the road, think it may be a consequence of it being lowered by a previous owner.

Will a change/upgrade help? And does anyone have any recommendations? Cheers for any help :)

I can recommend Bilstein B4 shocks & -50mm EVO springs from Brickwerks. The shocks won’t last forever mind.

Or forget all this lowering nonsense and put it back to standard. That'll fix it.

I agree with above my autohomes sat really high so I lowered it 70mm with avo shocks and it handles nice and looks better but I've noticed cupboard side is starting to sag at rear fortunately I kept original springs so thinking about going back to standard springs.
