It seems to be easier on the engine driving it around town
Not that over reving on the engine .
Up and down little hills in south shields
And using the Sat nav for the speed as there is quite a bit of difference from the Speedo
what profile, width are the tyres and is are the rims?

With a 6inch side wall, and 205 on a 16" wheel it'll be something like 205/75R16

I'm fitting 205/70 r16s to mine soon. 5.6 inch sidewall. Waiting for the tyres to come in the post...
27.3 inches diameter compared to around 25 inches on my current worn 185 r14c tyres. I have a 1.9d AEF engine and I have a 5 speed gearbox. Main reason for changing it to be able to cruise on the flat at 60 to 70mph without the engine revving its nuts ofg..

Be good to know how you get on- mine are 27" and no rubbing, but I guess it's pretty close at the front. Not raised van but new springs and dampers. Keep us updated, I'll get that size next if you're all good [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Just fitted these Wolfrace Arktis 16" for a customer, perfect fit straight on without spacers or longer studs. He reports better grip and handling, yet lighter steering at low speed. The Pirellis are commercially load rated and all season too. A highly recommended combo.ImageImage
