Paint Code for Carat Alloys?

Post by PaulG »

Hi,

I need to touch up some minor blemishing on my OE Carat Alloys. Ideally I need to brush apply paint with a very small brush. Anyone know if there is such a thing as a paint code for these wheels please, and if so what it might be, and where I might get a pot of paint to that code?

Many thanks,

PaulG

Hi,

Thanks for looking at my post, but this has turned out to be trickier than I thought! However, in the meantime I have found and ordered this:-

http://www.thescratchdoctor.co.uk/alloy ... olkswagen/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and also discovered this paint code on The Samba.com:-

"Chrome-coloured metallic (L091) ~ wheel covers & alloy wheels" which it says is for all alloys fitted to US Vanagons.

I'll let you know by return how I get on with the Scratch Doctor Kit. Pesky stick-on balance weights caused this hassle!
