Mercedes 16" alloys

Post by fixitsteve »

Hi,
I've just bought some 16" ET37 merc alloys with 205 tyres as I believe they fit on with no spacers required
Is this true or not :? and do I need longer studs/nuts ?

You will need longer studs and the merc nuts, if you are going from steel to alloy.
The tyres will be too small.

You'll need 215/60x16 load rating >95

And I think Merc alloys only have 12mm holes for the studs and you need 14mm.

Benz ML 16" are 14mm and the centre bore is 67mm
Only the rears need a 5mm spacer to avoid fouling the swingarm, but I used 10mm ones all round
