Lowest ET on rear?

Post by kit »

I have a set of Mercedes Ronal alloys the rears are 16x8" with an ET of 30 which by all accounts would be just about correct but I was thinking of fitting the Brickwerks adapter for ease of fitting but the 25mm would bring them down to ET5 which would be a no no, however would that be a big problem on the rear would 25mm make them stick out that far? Thanks in anticipation of getting ripped to bits :run

My factory alloys are 6x14 with ET30, with 8x16 ET30 the inner rim will be 1 inch nearer trailing arm etc, would be tight but maybe OK depending on tyre width, you would have to try it. 25mm spacers would bring the inner rim to factory position, but sliding door would need modifying to avoid hitting wheel. Without spacers the door might be ok.
